UKAA Ltd is the culmination of an expansion program that began as B.R.Barnes & Partners (Assessors) in 1972 and which in the intervening years included the acquisition of H.E.Milburn (Oxford) Ltd as well as being directly involved in the development and hugely successful migration of remote imaging (Image Assessor Ltd) as a tool to manage claims more efficiently.
Our commitment in this field continues to be strong with ongoing development in tandem with Thatcham M.I.R.R.C, details of which will be the subject of an announcement when appropriate.
The creation of our current business model to embrace Third Party Intervention was a direct result of an initiative by one of our insurer partners to create a bespoke solution to address the escalating hire costs associated with credit hire.
The formation of UKAA Ltd, which was registered in 1996, now represents the umbrella company under which all our subsidiaries operate.
Our most recent development has been the creation of this web site that quite apart from the obvious advantages for clients to download their own reports and images, embraces unique logic that provides a life of claim audit trail as well as bi-directional communication facilities to circumnavigate the time consuming need, in all but serious matters, of telephonic contact.
It has always been and remains our mission to remove from the reporting process the need for a full report in all but the small percentage of cases where one is required, preferring to concentrate on a summary report with the contents concentrating on key information that forms part of our monthly MI reports.
Appling this logic to our web enabled engineer report module will with supporting images and estimate give us the opportunity of providing our clients with information faster than what hitherto has been the case.
